Coastal Glamp offers furnished bell tents set among the vines at Bellarine Estate winery, just outside Portarlington.
The glamping season generally operates from November until late April.
Portarlington Beach Motel
Best for: easy, comfortable and affordable accommodation
Portarlington Beach Motel is a relaxed local option for couples, families and groups. Rooms include kitchenettes and there’s an outdoor pool, BBQ area and playground, with the town centre and waterfront within walking distance.
Lon Retreat
Best for: a truly luxurious Bellarine escape
For something special, Lon Retreat in Point Lonsdale is one of the Bellarine Peninsula’s standout luxury stays.
The adults-only retreat sits on more than 250 acres and has just seven individually designed suites, along with mineral bathing, a heated mineral pool, steam rooms and views towards the coast and lighthouse.

The Old Mill, Portarlington

Built in 1857, The Old Mill is one of Portarlington’s most distinctive historic buildings and has recently been transformed into a collection of beautifully designed private residences by the sea.

Coming from Melbourne? Leave the car at home
Port Phillip Ferries operates direct services between Docklands and Portarlington, with the journey taking around 70 minutes.
If you stay close to the Portarlington waterfront, you can arrive by ferry, walk to your accommodation and enjoy a surprisingly easy coastal escape without bringing the car.
